Spring is here, and there’s never been a better time (or year) to get out in the yard!
Have a little extra time on your hands? Gardening is a great way to get outside, exercise, and rejuvenate your spirit. The dividends will come later, too!
If you’re not sure where to start, the Colorado Master Gardeners have a great resource on learning to grow food, with the hope that gardeners will donate their extra produce locally. Visit the CMG website for educational videos and links to other great resources.
If you need specific gardening advice, it’s only a phone call or mouse click away. CSU Extension offices are temporarily closed, but our staff and volunteers are still available to answer your horticultural questions.
Here are some options to reach us:
- Ask a Master Gardener Helpline. Broomfield residents may leave a detailed message at 303-464-5554. A local Colorado Master Gardener or horticulture specialist will return your call within two business days.
- Email. Send questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please attach photos, if possible.
- Online. Submit your question using this interactive form.
- Colorado State University Extension Website. You will find science-based answers to many of your yard and garden questions on the CSU Extension website.
